What happens when you claim

Claiming starts a free trial for your store. It does not list today’s cars by itself.

  1. Your store, filled in

    The trial opens with this dealership’s name, website, city, and state. You choose the login and finish.

  2. Fourteen days, no card to start

    You try CarSales before you decide. A card is not required to begin.

  3. Cars go live when you publish them

    A listing here does not put vehicles on FMYCAR. On a CarSales plan, you can publish in-stock cars to cars.fmycar.com and turn that off whenever you want.

Are these cars for sale?

No. Each card is a dealership: the name, the city, the website, and the phone number when it is listed. Cars for sale, with prices and photos, are on cars.fmycar.com, and only from stores that choose to publish them.

How do I claim my dealership?

Choose “Claim and start free trial” on your card. CarSales opens with your dealership name, website, city, and state filled in. You create the account. The trial is 14 days and does not ask for a card to start.

What does it cost to show my cars?

Nothing extra. Publishing to cars.fmycar.com is included on a CarSales dealership plan. A listing on this page does not publish your cars by itself. You can turn publishing off at any time.

Who receives a shopper’s question?

When one of your cars is published, the shopper’s question comes to your store in CarSales, tied to that car.

How do published cars stay current?

They follow the cars you have in CarSales and update every few hours. A sold car comes off the listings. Nothing moves from this directory onto the marketplace on its own.
